Bal Prakash is a free residential school for children from weaker economic sections of the society. It was set up in 1996 and since then has served thousands of students from all religion caste and creed. ..

Currently, it houses around 95 children from both genders. It offers free food, accommodation, education, essentials and health care facility to these children.

AIM

It aims for holistic development where children not only reach their academic goals but also develop professional and inter-personal skills. Children take part in farming and plantation activities on a routine basis. They are also trained for other skills like carpentry, stitching, cooking , music and sports.

There are regular travel programs organized so children get exposure to different cultures, languages and the outside world.

Connect with nature

There is a special emphasis to be connected with nature. With its sprawling campus and vegetation house. Children stay connected with the mother earth and green ecosystem.
